The Nature Showcase Media LLC (herein referred as “NSM,” “we,” or “our”) will always remain strongly committed to protecting and respecting your (“you,” “user,” “our customer,” ”your,” “your company,” “your organization”) privacy whenever you visit our website or buy product(s) from us. In the following sections we disclose how we collect, use, share and protect personally-identifiable information and non-personally identifiable information. We also inform you about our data security measures, use of cookies and pixel tags, links to and from NSM, children’s online privacy protection, and California privacy rights. NSM reserves the right to change this policy at any time; and if so, changes shall be effective immediately without prior notice. It is the user’s responsibility to be familiar with our current “Privacy Policy” and all of our policies as some details may change over time (see effective date at the end of each policy). NSM does not collect any personal information except when it is knowingly and voluntarily provided to us. Although beyond our control, and due to web server automatic collection of each IP address (number assigned to visitor’s computer or a mobile device by a web server when using the internet), an individual user could be identified (by our web-server/web-hosting company) in order to comply with safety/security issues or with legal requirements. We collect and store (if needed) personal and other information related to your order(s) and/or inquiry(ies). For example, we do collect personally identifiable information if you complete our secure (encrypted) online order form leading to an order-related purchase transaction. Please note that credit card numeric data is kept on our web server only long enough to acquire credit card approval via real-time gateway (via encrypted link to a payment processor), and afterwards complete credit card information is never stored on our web server or in our database. That is, we will never know your complete credit card information (such as your complete credit card number) if you placed your order via internet using our website (even if we later access the transaction via the payment processor). Information collected, such as name, e-mail/address, shipping address, credit card number/expiration, credit card billing address, contact information, phone number, etc., will be mandatory in order to complete and fill your order. When filling an order, we will only share relevant personal information necessary to secure your payment to NSM (via encrypted link to a payment processor), send an order to photo-printing lab, and ship our merchandise to you. For example, if you place an order, shipping-related information such as your name and delivery address is made available (transmitted) to NSM-selected photo-printing lab to print and ship the product, unless we ship to you directly. In either case, the shipping carrier receives this information as well. We are convinced that the lab(s) and shipping carrier(s) we use is(are) reputable; however, we cannot be responsible for any misuse of the shared information, or the small risk of data interception by a third party. Also, be aware that if you send us an e-mail, the message has a small risk of being intercepted by a third party and may be subject to legal disclosure requirements. Otherwise, we have no intentions to share any personally-identifiable information collected, except (as mentioned above) when we process a purchase transaction and print/ship product(s); to protect our rights or property; or if we need to comply with legal requirements. If we need to contact you regarding your order, we will contact you using the information submitted. We may occasionally send you promotional e-mail directly (not via third party) and periodically if you have subscribed to our new-product updates. Should you choose to unsubscribe, you will find instructions near the end of each promotional e-mail message. 

We automatically collect anonymous information on our website (via cookies and pixel tags; for more information see “Cookies and Pixel Tags” paragraph below). Visitors’ information such as: web pages users request, browser type, operating system, referring website, internet service provider, IP address, and other technical information is automatically collected. Our primary interest is to determine web-page statistics (for example, what links are most visited, collectively by all visitors) so we can better understand the customers’ potential needs without knowing users individually. Cookies are small text files sent from a website and stored on user’s computer (or device) for later use. Pixel tags (web beacons, tags) are small (invisible) objects imbedded on a web page or e-mail, which enable tracking when user selects “tagged content.” Like many other websites, NSM reserves the right to use cookies and pixel tags. We use cookies to collect non-personally identifiable information (for more information see “Non-Personally Identifiable Information” paragraph above). For example, we use cookies to remember and process shopping cart items. Otherwise, we use cookies and pixel tags statistically in an aggregate form. If needed, data derived from cookies and pixel tags may be used to analyze website activity, users’ behavior, and access so we can customize content and/or increase website functionality. If you are concerned, you can control cookies from your internet browser options. For example, you can limit or disable cookies (partially disabling pixel tags); however, this may limit access to certain content or features when you use the internet. Our customer’s personal information is protected against unauthorized use to the best of our abilities using the latest commercially-accepted methods. For example, online purchase transactions initiated on natureshowcasemedia.com website are protected with the latest Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption, a Payment Card Industry standard widely used to greatly reduce the risk of data interception by a third party (look for “https://” and a lock symbol in your internet browser’s address/location bar) to help assure that customers are not on a phishing site. Additionally, credit card numeric data is kept on our web server only long enough to acquire credit card approval via real-time gateway (via encrypted link to a payment processor), and afterwards complete credit-card information is never stored on our web server or in our database. In addition to the latest commercially accepted methods to secure our customer’s personal information we also use our best efforts (physical, electronic, and managerial) to keep all information secure and protected against unauthorized use. However, there is a possibility that no method of storing or transmitting data is ever completely secure. Thus, we cannot guarantee that information we store or transmit is 100 percent safe. Even so, we are convinced that this risk is minimal. In an unlikely event of data breach, we would attempt (if possible) to notify affected customer(s) via e-mail within 72 hours. Furthermore, assuming data breach occurred during a purchase transaction, we would not permit browsing of our website beyond the notification page indicating “website maintenance” (a term used for any reason to perform website maintenance) until the security risk is eliminated or minimized in order to restore Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard and maximize secure-shopping capability.  

Regardless, whether you are an individual, business, or an organization; at this time we do not provide visitors or previous customers means to create password-secured accounts. Thus, if you are placing a new order, you must enter business, organization, or personally identifiable information, and financial information (again) on a secured (Secure Socket Layer) web form. 

All our printing needs are fulfilled by a printing lab(s) that may be mistaken as partner(s) where in fact NSM is its(their) customer. In some instances, such as choosing a frame for a selected image, you may have an option to visit our printing lab’s website (including their partner website, or mobile application) for reference or to consider a wider selection than provided by NSM. If so, we have no responsibility and no control over their privacy policy and content. Thus, NSM makes no warranty, no representation, and bears no responsibility for the legality, accuracy, or content of the externally linked website(s). We encourage you to review all external website policies that may be of concern to you.  

You may have hyperlinked to NSM via a third-party website. Our policy is that if we are not affiliated, we do not sponsor or endorse third-parties’ content, including advertising, and thus, we do not bear responsibility for legality, accuracy or content of any third-party website. We ask that any hyperlinks to NSM do not give an impression to the contrary, and please provide a clear notice when the user is leaving an unaffiliated (third-party) website in order to link to NSM.

In compliance with Childrens’ Online Privacy Protection Act, NSM does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals younger than 13 years of age. We also do not specifically target or sell our merchandise to children. If we become aware that we have unknowingly collected personal information from an individual younger than 13 years old, we will delete personally identifiable information from our records and attempt (if possible) to contact the parents. Otherwise, as for 13 to 18 year old group, we will inform the user that we need parental or legal guardian consent and/or participation before using our website and/or our contact e-mail. Moreover, you must be over 18 years old, be able to legally enter into a binding contract, and agree that your purchase(s) is(are) for a legitimate purpose(s).

As a California resident, you have a right to request disclosure of your personal information (California Civil Code Section 1798.83) that may have been submitted by NSM (if any ,within the immediately preceding calendar year) to a third-party business for direct marketing purposes (and find out who they are, and what they do). To make the request, please use the contact information below. However, please be aware that at this time we do not share any personal information obtained from our California customers with any third-party business for direct marketing purposes. 

When our website encounters “Do Not Track” signal, we continue to collect visitor information in a manner explained in “Cookies and Pixel Tags” section (above).
