We offer unmounted photographs printed on high-quality professional photo papers, including fine art papers, and museum-quality canvas. Purchasing unmounted photographs may be the most economical choice for prospective customers who want to use their own or local resources to mount and/or frame our photograph(s). Unmounted photographs are usually delivered rolled in a shipping tube. Please use utmost care when handling photographs that had been delivered rolled in a shipping tube as not to introduce creases and when attempting to flatten the photograph prior to mounting. These are the tasks best suited for experienced users; however, online (internet) resources may be helpful (but may not agree with best practices recommended by professional conservation organizations). We recommend taking our unmounted photographs to your local framing shop for a professional mounting and framing (in part because the photographs received may not be standard size, creating technical issues you may have unforeseen). If you require mounted photographs, see the next category (“Mounted Photographs”).
We offer photographs printed on high-quality professional photo papers, including fine-art papers, museum-quality canvas, or printed direct to substrate. Print-mounting options may include one or more of the following: foam-core mounting board (Gator board), canvas stretcher-bar frame, wood, Dibond® (polyethylene core inserted between two aluminum sheets), Polystyrene (plastic), and Acrylic (plexiglass). Mounting options intended for utmost rigidity include: photograph printed directly to specially coated aluminum sheet (“metal print”), print mounted (or image printed directly) on Dibond®, print “sandwiched” between Acrylic and Dibond® (“face-mounted” to acrylic), and print mounted or directly printed on a wood panel. Wall-mounting hardware options vary with product type and may include: no wall-mounting hardware (usually selected by customers who want to use our mounted photograph with their own frame), float hanger, keyhole mount, cleat hanger, inset sub-frame hanger, wire hanger, saw-tooth hanger, and corner posts. Even if you select mounted photographs with additional wall-mounting hardware, you may still need your own nails/screws. Furthermore, our customer (or the third-party recipient) is expected to provide his/her own tools and supplies necessary to properly (and safely) display our merchandise. Otherwise, we recommend that our customer hire a professional company experienced in hanging artwork. Although the details and selection of our photographic prints, print-mounting substrate, wall-mounting hardware, and frame options are ordinarily limited to our best recommendations and component availability from the same printing lab, you may contact us to inquire about details and customized selection based on your own criteria.
We currently offer few photographs (derived from our computer-enhanced images) that look like paintings. Nevertheless, we may agree to enhance additional photographs (images) upon request.
Our calendars include selected photographs that bring nature-inspired moments and natural beauty into focus, for you and others to enjoy. We offer bimonthly calendars for the following year as early as September. Please be aware that we do not ship our calendars outside of contiguous United States of America.
Our limited-edition photographs are available in different sizes with required mounting and optional framing. We permanently limit the quantity of photographs printed to the number listed in the specific-photograph description (for example, description of photograph selected from the “Shop”/Limited-Edition Photographs web page). Only the limiting number of photographs will be commercially available and numbered regardless of size or type of merchandise. The maximum (limiting) number of prints in an edition will become permanent after the first sale. Please expect the price of our Limited-Edition Photographs to increase as the number of Limited-Edition Photographs available in an edition diminishes.
An authentic Nature Showcase Media LLC “Limited-Edition Photograph” can be verified by matching identifying temper-resistant labels attached to both, our merchandise and certificate of authenticity. Additionally, each limited-edition photograph will be illustrated as much smaller print that serves as an image identifier on both, the backside of sold merchandise and on the certificate of authenticity. The specific-print-dedicated certificate of authenticity is mailed to our customer (rather than to third-party recipient) after the 30-day credit/return deadline (30 days since carrier’s delivery date; see “Cancellation, Returns, and Credit Policy”) via registered mail requiring our customer’s signature. Please be aware that we do not ship our limited-edition merchandise outside of contiguous United States of America.
For use within USA, please expect our copyright and trademark information printed as part of an image on the front side of our color prints. B&W photographs will show copyright information printed (in B&W or grayscale) on the front side, and if mounted, both copyright and trademark information (in color) on the backside of the mounting. Additionally, our copyright and trademark will also be displayed on the backside of the mounting of our limited-edition (color and B&W) photographs. For more information regarding copyright and trademark, see “Copyright and Trademark” section of “Terms and Conditions” web page or "Selection Guide."
We mostly select limited-edition photographs to be printed using Hahnemühle brand archival fine-art papers. However, we may select yet another archival/high-quality brand/paper when we are convinced the photograph would look better (or the customer makes a request). The inks/pigments used to print our limited-edition fine-art photographs have archival properties. These inks/pigments are also applied when printing to resin-coated photographic papers specifically dedicated for use with “inkjet technology”, thus making these few papers an acceptable addition to archival “fine-art photographic papers” category.
