This selection guide is designed to help our “prospective customers”*1 make an informed decision when considering to purchase our merchandise. In part, it includes more details about the recommended selections we offer via our “SHOP” page, and it provides additional information that can be used when communicating with us regarding a custom order. Our selection guide includes, categories (“Unmounted Photographs,” “Mounted Photographs,” “Computer-Enhanced Photographs That Look Like Paintings,” “Printed Calendars,” and “Limited-Edition Photographs”), sample images*2, and useful information. Although the details and selection of: our photographs, print-mounting substrate, wall-mounting hardware, and frame options are ordinarily limited to our best recommendations and component availability from the same printing lab, you may contact us to inquire about details and customized selection based on your own criteria. *2 Please consider our sample images as illustrative of relative differences among photo-lab products/supplies, product categories, reflective properties of photographic materials, and other information we provide. They are at best a close approximation (rather than an exact representation) of our merchandise due to variables that are in part beyond our control (for example, different printing lab may produce prints with slightly different colors, each “Barnwood Frame” assembled can be considered unique, etc.). Nevertheless, we make our best attempt to depict materials presented as we see them in “hand samples” under consistent daylight conditions. Furthermore, we make a professional effort to display sample image colors on our website similar to that of our merchandise. Even so, some merchandise that we ship and their unique visual characteristics may differ enough within your lighting environment to account for some difference(s) compared to our sample image(s) as seen on your monitor/device screen. Given that there are numerous variables, we are hopeful that our merchandise (especially photographs’) visual characteristics will exceed your expectations. Please note that glossy/luster and metallic print surfaces are generally not noticeable in our sample images because if we used their reflective orientation while imaging (although in few cases we have a good reason to show reflections) the related glare would make these images less comparable to other sample images (in terms of color, saturation, contrast, etc.). Furthermore, the paper texture is usually too small to be resolved in most of our sample images.
